Feyenoord are pushing Southampton to slash their asking price for Jody Clasie.

The Holland midfielder is wanted back at his old club and the player, himself, has conceded playing abroad has been difficult for him and his family.

De Telegraaf says Feyenoord are in talks with Saints about a fee for Clasie, but have insisted they cannot afford to match the €15m they sold the midfielder for three years ago.

Interestingly, Clasie has been outstanding in preseason for Saints, though is still expected to leave St Mary's.
