Feyenoord scout Bjarne Hansen admits he quit Manchester United last year due to Frank Arnesen.
Arnesen is back in Holland with Feyenoord as sporting director after leaving Anderlecht, where he hired Hansen last year. The Dane has since followed him to Feyenoord.
"I started with Manchester United in October 2018, but then Frank started in Anderlecht on January 1, 2019, so I resigned and went to Anderlecht with him instead," recalled Hansen to bold.dk.
"I have great respect for Frank's football knowledge and I think he is the best boss I have ever had.
"It is a lot of freedom under responsibility, and he tells me that when I know more about Scandinavia than he does, he does not question what I would like to see.
"I try to be the right places at the right times, and he has full confidence in that."
