Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel has revealed talks with Manchester City over the return of John Guidetti.

The Swede made his name last season on-loan at Feyenoord.

Van Geel told Voetbalzone.nl: "Two weeks ago I went to the preseason camp of Manchester City and talked at length with John.

"It is no secret that I did enjoy seeing him, and that for us it would be nice to have him back on loan from City."
