Ferrara satisfied as Juventus draw with Bayern Munich

Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara was left satisfied after their 0-0 draw with Champions League opponents Bayern Munich.

"I'd say the result does satisfy me, especially considering the way we played in the second half," he said.

"In the first Bayern pushed hard and created some chances, while we lost the ball too much and didn't make the most of the counter.

"After the break we barely ran any risks and went close to winning it."

Diego was an injury doubt beforehand and was in the starting XI, but did not provide the necessary spark.

"Clearly Diego is an important player for us and at the moment he cannot be 100 per cent on form. We will inevitably pay a little bit for that, but I tried to field him between the lines of the Bayern squad."
