Fernandinho, Toure should have seen red for Man City - Chelsea boss Mourinho

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes Manchester City should have had Fernandinho and Yaya Toure sent off during the Blues 3-0 loss on Sunday.

Speaking after the game, Mourinho claimed that Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho deserved a red card for an elbow on Diego Costa in the first half and Yaya Toure deserved a second yellow for his foul on Juan Cuadrado in the closing stages.

"Probably they should have finished the game with nine men because in my opinion Fernandinho should be a red card," Mourinho told Sky Sports.

"And in minutes 80-something, again out of the context of the game, but Yaya Toure makes a clear second foul. So, a second yellow card."

Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and Fernandinho all scored as City produced a comfortable win over the reigning premiers at the Etihad Stadium.
