Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra has apologised to Luis Fernandez for his rant against him last month.
Evra took aim at Fernandez in an interview after recent criticism coming from the former France midfielder.
Fernandez confirmed to L'Equipe: "That's what I said to Patrice Evra. I told him that I think only of the player. And on the lives of my children, I would be so happy to say we have a good left back!
"The problem with the media fury the other day, is that we've seen it boiling for years. So, for the France team, I hope, he is released!
"And against Ukraine, I want to see him eat Yarmolenko! And then I would say 'he's beautiful'. If taking it out on me and others inspires him, all the better."
