QPR chairman Tony Fernandes reaffirmed his support of manager Mark Hughes in his match programme notes yesterday.

The Rs drew 1-1 at home to Reading on Sunday.

Fernandes wrote: "The media seem to be writing one negative story after another about Mark's position, but he is the best man for the job and he has the full backing of the board.

"Mark and his backroom staff are integral to what we are trying to achieve."
