Ferguson: Man Utd want to keep me involved after retirement

Sir Alex Ferguson won't walk away from Manchester United when he decides to step down as manager.

Asked who will replace him, he said: "I'm not gone yet."

Yet even when he's gone he'll still be there.

"United is a family club and I know they will want me to stay involved as an ambassador of some sort [after retiring as manager]," he said. "If I'm asked my view I'll give it, but I won't be a back-seat driver."
