Rio Ferdinand knows reputations count for nothing with new manager David Moyes set to take charge at Manchester United.
Ferdinand admits he is looking forward to showing new boss David Moyes he deserves to be the first choice centre back still.
He said: "We've all got to prove ourselves to the new manager - there'll be new rules and a new regime."
"The likes of Giggsy and myself - who have been here for many years - will be in the same boat as Welbeck, Jones, Cleverley.
"We all have to show him we're the right people to start each game."
