Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is buoyed by the improvement David de Gea is making.
The young Spanish goalkeeper has strung a number games together after being in and out of the line-up earlier in the season and his more recent performances have been much better than what he previously showed.
Ferdinand says that de Gea has worked hard to improve his game and is delighted that he is making positive steps forward.
"David de Gea's made some good strides in goal," said Ferdinand. "He's learning, he wants to be a better keeper and wants to improve, and that's vital in a young player's make-up."
