Ferdinand raps Man Utd for failing Falcao

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has spoken of AS Monaco star Radamel Falcao's problems at Old Trafford.

Falcao spent a miserable season on loan at Manchester United - scoring just four goals in 33 appearances.

“All the time he was successful for his other clubs, they were crossing the ball for him," Ferdinand told BT Sport. “He scored so many goals from crosses.

“This team (Monaco), the two fullbacks maraud forwards, cross the ball and he makes great runs in the box.

“This is what's great about this Monaco team - he's got legs around him, which can do all his running."
