Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez remains in the dark over their transfer plans this month.

Benitez was speaking after their 1-1 draw with Swansea City.

Benitez said: “The new world of football is very expensive. It is hard for the forwards, because we don't create a lot of chances, so they have to help us by working hard.

“Could Joselu score more goals? Yes. But if he did he would probably cost £25million.

“We are no closer to signing anyone, so we must look at the players who are here and who are playing."
