Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat is weighing up his future.
The Daily Star says he is ready to walk out on Sunderland over the club's failure to back him in the transfer market.
The Dutchman is becoming increasingly fed up at the lack of funds available to him, having warned owner Ellis Short the Black Cats could be relegated unless he brings in three more quality players.
There is little sign of that happening and having failed to give assurances that he will stay on, Advocaat may decide to quit rather than carry on with a squad he fears is ill-equipped to survive.
