Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera admits he's frustrated with new contract talks.

The goalkeeper shone for Uruguay in the World Cup and also impressed as his team is top of the Serie A table.

"I don't know what's going on with the contract renewal," the 24-year-old told La Repubblica newspaper.

"My agent, Daniel Fonseca, came to Rome 14 times between July and August. His most recent trip was this week, but it was useless, as Lazio always put back the meetings.

"There is very little clarity in the situation. I am very disappointed, but I can only sign once I get the all-clear from Fonseca."

Muslera is of interest to both Arsenal and Manchester United.
