FC Koln chiefs accept defender Kevin Wimmer could be on his way this summer.
The talented Austria international is being watched by Tottenham, after a failed bid in January.
"It may well be that a request is coming - no one is not for sale," confessed Koln coach Peter Stoeger.
"When the bids are at a certain level, we need to think seriously about it. Our task will then be to turn to develop, using our capabilities, similarly good players.
"That's our job."
Koln chief Jörg Schmadtke added: "He will now play, then once the season finishes and a club comes with ten million euros, we will think about it."
