FC Dallas have made it vehemently clear that promising goalkeeper Richard Sanchez is not leaving the club to join Tigres UANL.
The 19-year old Mexico youth international has been heavily linked with a shift to the Liga MX outfit but Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman has insisted that the youngster is going nowhere.
"Richard Sanchez is a member of FC Dallas," Hyndman told MLSsoccer.com last week. "He's got a contract with us and it's a long-term contract.
"We love his progress, we love his maturity, we love his growth. Our mentality is, let's use this year to get him the best training we possibly can, also for him to be a part of the Mexican U-20 national team and get as many games there as he can internationally.
"And then go through the [U-20] World Cup, progress as they did with the U-17s and win the championship and then we can talk about next year a little bit more and with more stability, because he'll be here the whole time."
