English Premier League club Blackburn Rovers have reportedly made a considerable bid for FC Dallas' George John.
Fox Soccer suggests that the Lancashire club are extremely keen on the 24-year old American defender and that Dallas are considering the offer that has been tabled.
John, who can also play in midfield, has been with the Texan club since the start of the 2009 MLS season and will be able to join the Rovers without a UK work permit as he is eligible for a Greek passport because of his parents' heritage.
