Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre has announced Mario Gotze is not in his plans.

The midfielder is off contract at the end of this extended season and in talks with English clubs, where he's been linked with Everton and West Ham.

Favre said, "Right now we're playing 3-4-3. So I've talked to Mario Götze and unfortunately this is not the right system for him.

"You have to tell the truth about this.

"Of course he can play left or right, but we'll see. There are still many games coming and we have to count on every player."
