The father of PSG star Lionel Messi has denied an agreement has been struck with Al Hilal.

It's been claimed Barcelona great Messi will move to Saudi Arabia at the end of the European season.

But his father and agent Jorge Messi released a statement this morning, declaring: “There is absolutely nothing with any club for next year. The decision will not be made before Lionel finishes the league with PSG.

"When the season is over, it will be time to analyse and see what is there, and then make a decision. There are always rumours and many use the name Lionel to become famous, but there is only one truth and we can assure that there is nothing with anyone. Neither verbally, signed nor agreed upon, and it won't be until after the season.

“There are those who deliberately deceive, without providing any evidence for their claims, and who want to turn any harmful rumour into news or who are driven by their own interests. They would have to explain why they don't contrast the information... They don't want a truth to spoil their 'news'."
