The father of Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara admits he's set to leave.

Thiago is off contract at the end of the season.

ESPN Brasil pundit Zinho has now stated he's been told by his former team-mate Mazinho - Thiago's father - that there's been no contact with Liverpool about a new deal.

Flamengo are interested in the Spain international, along with Saudi clubs.

He's also been linked with a return to Barcelona, where coach Xavi is a fan.
