Farrell continuing to make stride with New England Revolution

Second-year defender Andrew Farrell has continued his improvement at a steady rate in 2014.

The 22-year old centre-back was taken with the number one selection in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft and has gone on to amass 63 appearances for the Revs in almost two seasons, most of those being at right-back last term.

Farrell, who has started on 29 occasions this season, has helped New England to third position in the Eastern Conference in 2014 and feels he has been fairly consistent as the Massachusetts outfit chase an elusive MLS Cup.

"I think I'm doing alright," Farrell told MLSsoccer.com.

"This season, something I talked to my agent and talked to my coaching staff about was just being consistent. I think I've had some really, really good performances, and I've had some performances that haven't been my best."

The Louisville native added: "It's just good that the team is doing so well right now and happy to be in the position we're in.

"Career-wise, as the team does well, you always look well."
