Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is keen to hear from Barcelona.

Off contract in June, Aguero is being linked with Barca as they seek an established goalscorer after allowing Luis Suarez to depart for Atletico Madrid last summer.

Cadena SER says family sources have stated that Aguero has welcomed talk of Barca being keen and would be happy to discuss pre-contract terms.

City boss Pep Guardiola has stated in recent days he remains hopeful of Aguero agreeing to new terms.

The former Barca coach believes they'll have a decision from the Argentine some time this month.
