Barcelona star Lionel Messi's off-the-field affairs continue to be controlled by his immediate family.

Sport says this year older brother, Rodrigo, who is married with children, has taken over chief operations for 'Team Messi' from Dad, Jorge.

Jorge has overseen all of Leo's playing and endorsement deals since quitting his job in Rosario and settling in Barcelona when his son was first signed as a 13 year-old. Now many of the Argentine star's commercial agreements will be handled by Rodrigo - with the emphasis being that family still knows best for the Barca attacker.
