Liverpool midfielder Fabinho says signing Kylian Mbappe could be one striker too many for manager Jurgen Klopp.

PSG superstar Mbappe, 21, has been linked with a move to Anfield over recent months and recently talked up the Premier League leaders.

The Frenchman played with Fabinho at Monaco before both left the club in the summer of 2018.

"At this moment it would be a headache for Liverpool if we had him here because our attacking trio is very good," Fabinho told SPORTbible.

"But I know Mbappe's quality, he's already one of the best players in the world, so he would obviously improve any team.

"Right now he plays for Paris Saint-Germain and we have to respect that."
