Brewers Carlsberg UK and The Football Association have agreed a four-year extension to their sponsorship deal, which will take the partnership to 19 years. Under the deal extension, Carlsberg will continue to be the official beer of the England national team and the FA Cup, and will become the exclusive beer pouring partner at Wembley Stadium.

Carlsberg also gains title rights to The FA's Referees Programme, in which it will support the recruitment and retention of referees at grassroots level in England.

The deal begins on 1 August 2010, when the current four-year deal expires, and covers the Euro 2012 and 2014 FIFA World Cup international tournaments.
