FA may hit Man Utd, Liverpool with charges

Manchester United and Liverpool could be hit by charges from the FA.

The Sun says the FA are today waiting on referee Phil Dowd's report to see if he files anything about the half-time tunnel bust-up and full-time shoving match.

They could then ask to speak to the policemen who got involved.

At half-time Patrice Evra is believed to have tried to confront Luis Suarez outside the changing rooms before police, stewards and players got involved.

At full-time Liverpool players tried to get to Evra because of his arm-waving celebrations next to Suarez.

A highly-charged situation had been made worse before kick-off when Suarez refused to shake Evra's hand.
