FA Cup magic: Wolves fan ended win standing in as fourth official!

Wolves season ticket holder Ross Bennett ended Tuesday night's FA Cup win against Brentford on the touchline.

Bennett, an U12 referee, was called from the stands in extra-time after a linesman was forced out due to injury.

After a quick lesson working the electronic board, Bennett stepped in as the fourth official.

Bennett insists he remained professional throughout despite his son winding him up from the stands and Brentford staff bombarding him with questions about decisions.

Wolves won via Matheus Cunha's penalty and Bennett said: "I was just gutted that I couldn't celebrate our goal!

"I had to stay neutral.

"Inside I'm screaming thinking 'I'm off to the Hawthorns (against West Brom) in less than two weeks'."
