FA CUP 5TH ROUND: Clinical Bolton into quarter finals

Ivan Klasnic's first-half goal was enough for Bolton to see off the challenge of Fulham at Craven Cottage in the FA Cup fifth round. The Croat volleyed the winner from 12 yards early in the first half after good work from Fabrice Muamba.

Klasnic had another shot parried away by Mark Schwarzer who also saved well from winger Martin Petrov.

Bobby Zamora came on fgrom the bench for the first time since September and went close for Fulham with a shot late on.

Bit overall this was the Wanderers day as they defended doggedly and looked dangerous on the break leaving the home side with few clear chances on goal.

Bolton's reward for victory in this all Premiership tie is a quarter-final game against another top flight outfit, Birmingham at St Andrews.
