EXCLUSIVE: Sao Paulo sensation Pato targets January Premier League move

Former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato is ready to return to Europe - and his favoured destination is the Premier League. Pato has rebuilt his career over the past 12 months on-loan at Sao Paulo, from Corinthians, and is under consideration by Brazil coach Dunga for a Selecao return.

tribalfootball.com can reveal Corinthians are ready to cash in on the 25 year-old and are seeking €15 million to sell.

Italian agent Nicola Guiliani is representing Pato in Europe and his partner, Eduardo Alves, who is close to Corinthians, is confident the striker, now flying with Sao Paulo, can reach his potential in England.

"I think Pato's best is still to come," Guiliani told tribalfootball.com. "He's fully fit, scoring goals and brimming with confidence.

"Now he needs a manager to back him. He's ready to return to Europe bigger and better than before."

Pato is currently Sao Paulo's top scorer and his goals have his club sitting second in the title race behind Cruzeiro.

It can be revealed Guiliani offered Pato to several English clubs during the summer market.

Pato was kept up-to-speed on developments and with his ambition piqued, now hopes to clinch a move to England in January.

"He's scored almost a goal every two games this year," continued Guiliani, "and playing just in front of Kaka has really brought out the best in him. Some of the goals he's scored this season have been amazing.

"Pato feels ready to return to Europe. He loved his time with Milan, he still talks fondly of the fans there, but he likes the challenge of the Premier League."
