Carlo Ancelotti is keeping tabs on Cesc Fabregas' situation at Chelsea.
A Catalan source has informed Tribalfootball.com that discreet enquiries by Bayern Munich intermediaries have been made on behalf of their new coach regarding Cesc's plans.
Ancelotti is a big fan of the Spain international and is aware he faces an uncertain future at Chelsea under new manager Antonio Conte.
Tribalfootball.com was alerted to Ancelotti's interest this time last week, just days before the Daily Star revealed Cesc's days were numbered at Chelsea as he wasn't a Conte-type of player.
With Mario Gotze in talks with Tottenham and fitness doubts hanging over Arjen Robben (32) and Franck Ribery (33), Ancelotti sees Cesc as an ideal addition to his newly inherited squad.
"Fabregas can be his (Ancelotti's) Javier Pastore," the source told us, "he's always been a big fan and should he be made available, expect Bayern to move. The player knows Ancelotti is interested."
Cesc hasn't been quiet since the end of last season discussing a future beyond Chelsea. He has even refused to rule out one day playing for Real Madrid.
