Excelsior mentor delighted for Van Persie over Man Utd success

SBV Excelsior hope Manchester United striker Robin van Persie returns before he hangs up his boots.

Van Persie has spoken of playing for Feyenoord again before he retires, but his junior club, Excelsior, also hopes he thinks of them.

Former Excelsior chief Simon Kelder is delighted for Van Persie about United's Premier League title triumph.

"He's really gone beyond expectations. That says a lot about his great talent. Again, he has made the right choice (joining United).

"He could have gone to Italy or Spain. But now he is a champion in such a setting. That's great."
