Former Stoke City midfielder Amdy Faye has joined Leeds United on a deal which goes through until January.
The Senegal international was on trial with the Whites and impressed in a reserves match against Grimsby Town on Tuesday night, prompting manager Simon Grayson to give him a four-month deal.
"We're signing him because of his presence, the size, the quality and his experience. He's a different type of player to what we have got at the club already," Grayson said.
