Former Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has revealed he had past interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Pavlyuchenko had four years at Spurs between 2008 and 2012.

He told Sports Wave Festival: "In Tottenham, when there was talk about my loan or sale, there were rumours that Real Madrid wanted to loan me.

"There were options - Liverpool, Real Madrid and Milan. I don't know if this is true or not. The agent told me that they are interested in me, they want to loan.

"But these are all rumours, there was nothing serious."
