Former Tottenham star Robbie Keane admits he's in talks with Championship clubs.
The veteran striker, 36, is a free agent after his six-year stint with MLS outfit LA Galaxy came to an end.
Keane, a target for Preston, told talkSPORT: “I had to knock back a couple of offers… Maybe a little too far away.
“As I said, I've got a few offers on the table at the moment, I've had a lot of people asking me to come back to Leeds, Wolves and so on.
“Great clubs I've played for, but you can't go somewhere you've not been offered.
“There's been a few offers from the Championship and a few other sniffs here and there, but I can't really comment too much.
“Definitely haven't heard anything from Leeds or Wolves, but a few other Championship teams which I don't really want to mention too much, as it wouldn't be fair on them."
