Former Spartak Mpscow coach Paolo Vanoli has ruled out a move to Tottenham.
It's been suggested Vanoli could join Antonio Conte as assistant manager.
But he told Sport-Express: "No, because at Inter I decided to complete the experience of an assistant. I realised that it was my time as a head coach. Then I talked with Antonio, told him my thoughts and met with understanding.
"I was lucky to work with him. I think Conte is the strongest coach in the world."
He added, "I think it will be difficult for me to work as an assistant. My path is decided - this is independent coaching. We need to continue on this path, and work at Spartak convinced me of this."
