Former Roma coach Carlo Mazzone has slammed Mario Balotelli over the way the Inter Milan striker won his penalty in Sunday's 3-3 draw.

"He needs to sort himself out," Mazzone rasped. "He needs to realise that he isn't king of the world.

"If he were my player, I would have severely reprimanded him. He needs to be told that he has to respect the rules of football.

"Someone has to intervene because it's not the first time that Balotelli has shown this kind of attitude.

"Roma were heavily punished for refereeing errors, even if they did make a few naïve mistakes.

"They played well but sometimes they needed to manage the game a little better,"
