Former Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid striker Hugo Sanchez has applied for the vacant Kilmarnock managerial position.
The 52-year old Mexican has extensive management experience which includes a stint in charge of his home national team between 2006 and 2008 and he also won titles in the Mexican Primera Division with UNAM Pumas.
His last job was with Spanish club Almeria, who he left in 2009, but he is keen to get back into the coaching caper as evidenced by his application for the job Mixu Paatelainen did so well in before taking the Finland job earlier this year.
