Former Real Madrid midfielder Freddy Rincon has taken a swipe at James Rodriguez.

Rincon hinted that a move may not be the worst thing for the former Monaco man.

"James is a very technical player, a very important one but he needs more dedication in order to be a great star," said Rincon.

"Right now, he doesn't have the personality to lead a team like Madrid."
