Luka Modric is happy to see out his contract with Real Madrid.

That's according to former Real striker and sporting director Pedja Mijatovic, who is close to the Croatian veteran.

Mijatovic told El Larguero: "I see Modric in Madrid.

"He has one more year of contract and from what I have talked with him is that he is mentalised to be here next year."

Modric's Real deal runs to 2021.
