Former Real Madrid sports chief Predrag Mijatovic is urging the club to give Liverpol striker Mohamed Salah a swerve.

Salah has been linked with a €200m move to Real this summer - but Mijatovic recommends against it.

He told AS: "Salah has all the qualities that football demands today, but he is also a player who has had a strange development.

"I do not know if Real Madrid should go mad at signing him because of young players like Marco Asensio and Isco with similar qualities. Additionally, we do not know what will happen to Gareth Bale.

"I do not know how Salah's situation looks but there is no player I have been crazy about. You do not know how he will adapt. Madrid is different, a club where it's hard to succeed."
