Ex-Reading boss Jaap Stam in line for Feyenoord job

Former Reading boss Jaap Stam is in line for the Feyenoord job.

The ex-Manchester United defender will replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who is leaving at the end of this campaign after four years at the helm of the Rotterdam club.

Stam, 46, has been coaching at fellow Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle since the turn of the year, says the Daily Mail.

The 67-times capped international centre back played for PSV and Ajax during his career, but is set to take charge of another of the other traditional Dutch footballing giant.

He was previously manager of Reading, where he led them to the Championship playoffs in his first season but was then fired before the end of his second.
