Swansea City signing Michu has been backed to take the Premier League by storm.

Former Rayo Vallecano coach Jose Ramon Sandoval has claimed that his qualities should transfer easily enough to the British game given his natural attributes.

"He's deadly going forward and sacrifices himself a lot in defence," said Sandoval, who quit Rayo after the club was engulfed in financial problems. "He has incredible aerial power. He'd be an interesting player for the Premier League."
