Danish goalkeeper David Ousted is not coming to Vancouver Whitecaps to rest on his laurels.
The 28-year old has completed his move from Randers and immediately targeted improvement as a player under the tutelage of Whitecaps goalkeeping coach Marius Rovde.
"Every player has weaknesses that he wants to develop, and even though you see something as a strength, you need to keep developing that too," he told The Povince.
"I see myself as a quick goalkeeper, but I can always get quicker.
"Marius has a clear plan on how to develop me. I wanted to go to a club that has the abilities and the plan to take me even higher as a player."
Ousted signed the same day as the Whitecaps beat Chivas USA 3-1 last week but will not be considered for selection until July 9 when the international transfer window opens.
