Ex-Randers keeper Ousted intent on improvement at Vancouver Whitecaps

Danish goalkeeper David Ousted is not coming to Vancouver Whitecaps to rest on his laurels.

Danish goalkeeper David Ousted is not coming to Vancouver Whitecaps to rest on his laurels.

The 28-year old has completed his move from Randers and immediately targeted improvement as a player under the tutelage of Whitecaps goalkeeping coach Marius Rovde.

"Every player has weaknesses that he wants to develop, and even though you see something as a strength, you need to keep developing that too,” he told The Povince.

"I see myself as a quick goalkeeper, but I can always get quicker.

"Marius has a clear plan on how to develop me. I wanted to go to a club that has the abilities and the plan to take me even higher as a player."

Ousted signed the same day as the Whitecaps beat Chivas USA 3-1 last week but will not be considered for selection until July 9 when the international transfer window opens.
