Nick Ward has signed with Perth Glory the club has announced.

The 27-year old midfielder has returned home to Western Australia after spending the last few season with Melbourne Victory and more recently Wellington Phoenix.

Ward had a brilliant season with the Glory in the A-League's inaugural season, back in 2005, which earned him a move to English club Queens Park Rangers and he is now happy to be coming back home.

"It's exciting to be returning to Perth Glory," Ward said.

"The club is coming off a great finals campaign and hopefully we can go one step better next season."
