Neil Warnock is not about to preach to Leeds United fans that he is stepping in to rebuild the club.
The former QPR manager took over the role vacated by Simon Grayson last week and says he is eyeing immediate results as the Whites look to improve their 10th position in the Championship and move into a promotion play-off place.
"I suppose it's unusual that a manager wants to do something yesterday and not tomorrow, but that's how I am in my own career, the way that I manage and the way that I live in football.
"My wife doesn't want to see me have a heart-attack and have to look after me and have no in-between time.
"We need a bit of quality time before packing football in and popping my clogs, so it's finding that happy medium. But this challenge here was too good to turn down. The whole stature of the club.""Usually managers go in and say it's going to take two or three years to build, don't they, and end up getting the sack after 18 months," he said.
