Paul Hart is expected to be named manager of QPR.
The former Portsmouth boss had been linked with an academy role at Harry Redknapp's Tottenham.
But The Sun says Hart, 56, who parted company with Premier LeaguePortsmouth last month, is expected to be appointed within days after Jim Magilton's departure yesterday.
He will become the EIGHTH man to manage the club since millionaires Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore took over in August 2007.
