Former Newcastle United goalkeeper Matz Sels is delighted with his move to Strasbourg.

Strasbourg have secured the Belgium international to a four-year deal.

Sels said, "There are some nice things to do in this club.

"The city is also large and just as attractive as Brussels. Racing has made an effort to attract me and I will give the maximum of myself here. It is a great challenge because it is a difficult competition with big teams.

"That makes sense to me."
