Former Newcastle United boss Arthur Cox can't believe Kevin Keegan isn't involved in football.
Since the pair left Newcastle United in the autumn of 2008 where they had been a close managerial team, both have been without a club, Cox having retired, while Keegan has concentrated on working within the media.
Cox told the Evening Chronicle: "I would love to see Kevin back in football. It distresses and disappoints me to see him out the game. I think it's a disgrace.
"But I could say that about a few good people who don't have as club right now.
"I don't know whether he would be interested, but he is a football nut and just loves the game and I'm not sure if we can afford to have someone with his passion and knowledge sitting on the outside.
"There isn't a week goes by that we don't speak on the telephone. We talk football, football and football. I don't think we would have anything to talk about if we weren't both so obsessed."
