Former Napoli striker German Denis is convinced Walter Mazzarri is the right coaching appointment.

Mazzarri returns to the club for a second spell in charge after the sacking of Rudi Garcia.

Denis told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Yes, for the environment. The Neapolitan fans have splendid memories of his first management and he will certainly have them on his side, this matters.

"Then he is a competent and capable coach.
