Former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj has taken aim at Sevilla sports chief Victor Orta.
Januzaj left Sevilla last week to join Istanbul Basaksehir on-loan to the end of the season.
But before the move, former Leeds chief Orta criticised the Belgium winger over claims he was refusing to leave.
Januzaj has now released a statement, saying: “I would like to confirm that I have never deliberately obstructed a transfer or refused to leave the club when a good offer was on the table.
“I must now say that I find the words of my sporting director offensive and that I deeply regret them. Orta's actions are extremely inappropriate, while I have always been respectful."
